【Essential Installation Guide & Warnings】

Thermal Expansion: Polycarbonate expands and contracts with temperature changes.
Drill Oversized Holes: Use drill bits 1/8 inch (3mm) larger than the screw diameter to allow for movement.
Use Proper Screws: Always use corrosion-resistant self-drilling roofing screws with EPDM washers.
Do Not Over-Tighten: Screws should be snug, not pinching the panel, allowing it to move slightly.
Sealing: Use a 100% neutral cure silicone sealant for all seams and end caps. Acidic or alkaline sealants (often found in construction adhesives) will chemically damage the polycarbonate, causing it to craze and crack.
Cutting & Panel Length: Panels can be easily cut to size. For long runs, it is recommended to join multiple sheets rather than using a single, long piece (over 20 ft / 6m) to manage expansion stresses.
Handling & Storage:
Handle with care to avoid abrasions. Keep the protective film ON until after installation is complete.
Store panels flat and in a shaded, dry area. Prolonged direct sunlight on stored panels can make the film difficult to remove.
Safety Warning: NEVER stand or walk on unsupported panels. While incredibly strong against impact, they are not designed to bear a concentrated point load like a person's weight without proper underlying support structure.
